An Idea

I had the enormous pleasure to talk to my friend Jesús today, and he reminded me of Eugene, and I thought, what a beautiful bike ride and way to visit the arc of myself: the intermountain region encompassing Lake Lahontan, the simmering Cascades, the travels of Lewis and Clark and Chiloquin: My land in a way, and I should do this by bicycle after so many trips in a car along those lonely lanes (where Dave G. and I once came across an alone car on windswept ridge upside down in the middle of the highway, and collected cassettes). This yes is a beautiful route.
